Performance
The base engine for the 2024 RAM 2500 is a 6.4-liter, V8 gas engine that delivers 410 horsepower to you. There is also an optional turbo-diesel V6, 6.7-liter unit that produces 370 horsepower. The 2024 RAM 3500 is available with these same two engines. In addition, an optional high-output turbo-diesel V6 is offered and generates 420 horsepower. Select trims for both models have standard all-wheel drive. The RAM 2500 is also available with an off-road-ready suspension, electronically locking differentials at the front and rear, an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar, and other equipment.
Appearance
Both of these RAM truck models are designed with a tall, sculpted front end and a broad grille with the RAM logo. The RAM 2500 has sleek side surfaces except for an upper crease and a lower band of definition running along the door panels. The front end is molded, and the large, horizontal headlights are designed with three rectangular elements. The RAM 3500 has dual back wheels and a unique mesh design on the grille. The tall headlights are outlined in an LED bar and feature two stacked rectangular elements.
Features
The RAM 2500 is offered with a trailer surround camera, a trailer reverse guidance system, heated and leather-covered seats, lane departure mitigation, a power-sliding rear window, wood trim, driver’s memory settings, a blind-spot warning, an 8.4-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a navigation system, parking sensors, a 10-speaker sound system, and other gear. The RAM 3500 has many of these features: a 17-speaker sound system, a noise-canceling system, a surround-view camera, a wireless phone charger, a 12-inch central display screen, a remote tailgate release, and other equipment.
